250 Years: The Architectural Evolution of the Lee Mansion

Join us for a fascinating in-person event exploring the rich history and architectural evolution of the iconic Lee Mansion. Discover the stories behind the walls and witness the transformation of this historic landmark. Our featured speaker is Peter Morrill, Cultural Resources and Curatorship Manager with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources and he will talk about the architectural evolution of the Lee Mansion over the past 250 years including a behind the scenes tour of portions of the house not usually open to the public. Please note that parts of the tour will involve spaces with low ceiling heights and tight steep stairs which might not be suitable for visitors with mobility issues. A social on the porch will follow the event with Food & Drinks. This event benefits our critical preservation projects, such as the recently restored historic Lee Mansion kitchen.
