Bennett Vadnais

Bennett Vadnais grew up in Washington State and began pursuing art seriously in his early teens. He trained in the classical tradition at such schools as, the Bougie Studio, MN, the Water Street Atelier, NY, and the Art Students League of New York. His work has earned him various awards, including the first scholarship given by the American Society of Classical Realism and a merit scholarship from the Art Students League.

Vadnais works primarily in acrylic and other water media. Though he explores a variety of subject matter, his specialty is urban landscape.

Vadnais has shown work with Anderson Fine Art Gallery, St. Simons Island, GA, Atlanta Art Gallery, Atlanta, GA, Century Gallery, Alexandria, VA, Hirschl & Adler Modern, New York, NY, John Pence Gallery, San Francisco, KB Gallery, New York, NY, and had a solo exhibition at the Art Students League in 2005. Currently he is exhibiting with Galerie l’oeil du prince, Paris, France and the George Billis Gallery, New York, NY.

Richard J Holt

Richard Holt is chair of the ceramics department at Towson University and co-creator of Claymonster Pottery in Baltimore, Maryland. He has also taught at The Potter’s Guild and Baltimore Clayworks. Community engagement is a big focus which includes empty bowls projects, community firings with local colleges and any project where students and community can come together. Rich puts his work into two categories: Work for exhibition that includes figurative forms that are wheel thrown and altered; and the Claymonster Pottery line which allows him to stay a kid forever.
