We hope to see a huge crowd enjoying Celtic and traditional American songs performed by Charlie Zahm, Tad Marks, and Steve Hobson this Sunday, August 24! It’s our final outdoor concert of the Summer 2014 series, and Charlie is one of our favorite performers.
Year after year, Charlie’s voice, musicianship, extensive musical repertoire, and stage presence make him a popular performer at festivals, music events, house concerts, and many other venues. Did you know that he is one of the few singers in the world to be invited to sing live with Scotland’s Black Watch band?
Charlie will be joined on our Wheelwright stage by fiddler Tad Marks, one of the best fiddlers we know, and Steve Hobson, a fine guitarist and singer-songwriter who often performs with Charlie. A few weeks ago some of us trekked up to Aberdeen (um, just up the road, not in Scotland, darnit) to hear Charlie, Tad, and Steve perform a John Denver and 60s folk tribute concert. Charlie was in amazingly fine voice that evening, and the band was having such a good time singing and playing that they made it even more of a fun, fun evening than we expected.

So, bring your picnic and chairs, your family and friends, and enjoy our last concert of the season. Visit our our Events page for concert details.
Our Summer Concert Series is sponsored and hosted by the Friends of Jerusalem Mill, in cooperation with the staff of Gunpowder Falls State Park, and is made possible, in part, by grants from the Maryland State Arts Council and the Harford County Government through the Harford County Cultural Arts Board.
