Once a dairy farm, the large bank barn stood behind the Tenant House. The massive 2-ft thick stone walls still stand,
a testament to the ability of the stone masons 160 years ago. A barn is included on the 1814 tax assessment, but this one contains a date-stone of 1844. Currently, plans are being made to reconstruct the building on the old walls, to provide for storage space, and perhaps a large upper floor suitable for country dances and other activities.
